White Wolf Retracts Pay-for-Play Policy
Based on all your feedback, it's obvious that the policy as currently worded is not going to accomplish these goals. So, we are pulling it off the table as a blanket policy. I realize that the proverbial genie can't be shoved back in the bottle, but the guidelines I handed to a few people at ORIGINS and posted here last week clearly need to be reworked and rethought, so please consider them withdrawn.
Currently, the tone of the respondents is "You're right: The genie is out of the bottle. Fuck you."
Heh. Couldn't happen to a nicer bunch of nitwits. I hope the Creatives at WWGS are able to find work elsewhere in the industry.

*snickers*'Cause if they were nicer (and not so greedy), it wouldn't have happened.
I do hope that it continues to catalyze more people into seeing their true colors.

That sounds just like what they did to the old Camarilla NPO, or more like tried to do with the old NPO. Here, sign this contract the way *we* have written it, and no we aren't going to listen to what you have to say.
OR, in other words, lets take the larger LARP orgs down privately one by one, instead of trying to shove it down the throats of the masses in public. That way the majority of the blind sheep will continue to play our games, and pay our salaries.
I still don't trust WWGS, and I don't think I ever will.

Yeah, I wrote something like that about OWbN. It seems an obvious attempt to "assimilate" them and that org"We are MikeTinney-us and PhilipeBoulle-us of White Wolf. Resistance is futile; you will be assimilated. Your individuality will be added to our own. You will service us."
